Let’s face it: it has been a while since my last post here… Well, actually
it has been one month and a half! Oh dear, how fast time flies! For those of
you who have read my New Year’s resolutions post this absence might have seemed odd. Yes, I really feel
guilty that I’ve neglected my blog and my readers (and I’m so sorry for that),
but today I’m coming back to excuse myself – to tell you what has caused this
blogging break… and why it was the best thing that could have happened to me. :)
As I’ve mentioned in my New Year’s resolution post, I decided to be more productive blogger in 2015 and write
more often. As you have probably noticed, it wasn’t a proper start of the blogging
year, so I still have to work on that. But apart from the blogging goals that I’ve
set myself up, there was also self-development category with probably the most
important goal for me to achieve: get
closer to my dream job. And you know what? I did it! I got a dream job! I’m
so happy to officially say that I’ve started working at Superdrug’s HQ as a Marketing
Executive – Social Media. For those of you who don’t know Superdrug is UK’s second-largest beauty and health retailer and what's even more, is the part of A.S. Watson Group - the largest international health & beauty retailer in Asia and Europe. How awesome is that?
This huge change in my life has caused that the blogging fell by the
wayside, but not because it’s less important to me. This was just because of realizing
that I’m starting the new chapter in my life, so paradoxically the whole excitement
and the thoughts storm obscured my creative vein. I needed some time to familiarize
myself with those thoughts and emotions in order to come back here with clear
mind. So, here I’m am! :)
Follow your dreams, because they will come true!
If somebody had told me a few years ago where I would be living and
working right now, I would not believe it! We all know that life is not easy
and it’s like a sine wave – can be worse, can be better. All of the things that happen to us are the result of our previous actions
and decisions, but partially it’s also a twist of fate. Setting up a goal,
aiming to succeed, ambition and going out of the comfort zone – I believe these
are the factors that helped me to find myself in the perfect place. I’m so
happy that I’m exactly where I wanted to be and that I’ll have an opportunity
to fulfill myself in the company of the great people that I have a pleasure to
work with (my team is absolutely amazing!).
Dear future, I’m ready for new challenges, hard work, new goals and every
day becoming the better version of myself. :)
Congrats on new job!
